Chael Sonnen had Nick Diaz on his podcast a few days ago. I couldn't even get two minutes into it without having to check out. Nick Diaz is so ridiculously insufferable.

The judges are ruining this sport. Condit was up at least 3-2 or 4-1, and ended up losing a split decision for the title. Unreal. Lawler's corner told him in round 3 that he was down at least two rounds and needed the last two to win. He clearly lost round 4, and in round 5 he was in desperation mode where it was anyone's round. Judges still give it to the wrong guy. Unfiretruck!n real. This was one of the most entertaining fights the UFC ever had, and the outcome was ruined by completely incompetent judging ONCE AGAIN. Everyone and their mother knows that Condit won that fight. Good G0d.

I am not a big fan of stats in the UFC, but it is pretty accurate, here. Condit absolutely won this fight. This is the second worst robbery in UFC history behind GSP "defeating" Hendricks.

Between everything I've read, what you said, and those stats, definitely seems like they gave Condit the shaft. You know I am all about needing to finish the champ, but this needs rematch for sure, book it!

F!ck that finish the champ BS! He got beat, plain and simple. Give the belt to the real champ.
This is why I no longer give money to the UFC.

Here's the full fight video. Watch it when you can, it'll get taken down sooner rather than later... Let me know what you thought. For me, the fight was fantastic. Carlos was clearly winning, but that 5th round was spectacular where I give the slight edge to Robbie. Carlos went into that round thinking he was winning the fight, and still hung in there, these guys were tagging each other for a huge portion of that 5th round. weekendmma.blogspot.com/2016/01/robbie-lawler-vs-carlos-condit-ufc-195.html

This is how much each fighter made in the UFC event two nights ago. Keep in mind that the UFC is to MMA what the NFL is to football, MLB to baseball, NBA to basketball, and so on. The absolute best of the best of the best in mixed martial arts are in the UFC. These fighters are training 72 hours a week, pushing their bodies to their absolute peak and working every day for years to maintain it, all to fight on the biggest stage in professional combat. The UFC makes millions of PPV buys every single month, scores huge money and endorsements in the Fox channel merger and currently enforced reebok uniforms. Reebok pays about 3 millions a year to the UFC so their fighters can wear the reebok brand. All this that I mention (which isn't even the half of it), and this is what Zuffa is paying out their fighters.
(Welterweight Championship fight) Robbie Lawler: $40,000 def. Carlos Condit: $30,000
Stipe Miocic: $5,000 def. Andrei Arlovski: $15,000
Albert Tumenov: $5,000 def. Lorenz Larkin: $10,000
Brian Ortega: $2,500 def. Diego Brandao: $5,000
Abel Trujillo: $5,000 def. Tony Sims: $2,500
Michael McDonald: $5,000 def. Masanori Kanehara: $2,500
Justine Kish: $2,500 def. Nina Ansaroff: $2,500
Drew Dober: $2,500 def. Scott Holtzman: $2,500
Alex Morono: $2,500 def. Kyle Noke: $5,000
Dustin Poirier: $15,000 def. Joseph Duffy: $2,500
Michinori Tanaka: $2,500 def. Joe Soto: $2,500
Sheldon Westcott: $2,500 def. Edgar Garcia: $2,500

Round 1, Condit's. He had the knockdown and easily having the champ playing on the defensive most the time. Lawler may be stronger as they are saying and got some blows in, but Condit had his number.

Round 2, Lawler's. Big knockdown, big power punches landed. As Joe and co. said Condit was more proficient with more strikes, but he didn't land much of dick to mean anything.

Round 3, Condit. He had the champ dancing like Patrick Swayze.

Round 5 I'd give to Lawler, but an awesome give it your all shit. That was cool.

That's how I scored it. All were easy picks except for round 5, but I give it to Lawler because he probably landed the harder shots in that one.
Apparently the screwjob came in round 3, as the judges gave that round to Lawler. lolz.
