Yeah, both were bizarre. Either he royally fucked up (which he seemed to admit on the pick), or he was totally confused on what route he should have been running. But with that play, 4th and 10 with good time left, you go for a quick 12-15 yarder to your TE, that makes sense and how the play seemed to be designed. Why he was running down the field with his back to the ball, seems to me he fucked it yet again. They are not gonna call for a long pass to a fucking TE in that situation. I don't know what the hell he was doing. I too can see why the throw was to Witten, but I just can't get what Witten was hoping to do. I mean, the last play, he was turning into double coverage! Was he trying to draw the double team to open up a route behind him? Had he turned around, they'd have had it. Having said that, I thought Pittsburgh was going to win it when they tied the game. I figured they could clamp down and keep Romo out for the rest of the game and indeed the rest of OT if needed. By contrast, Dallas started to look scared to lose once they lost the lead. Odd stuff. Witten usually comes up pretty big, but in the 4th quarter, he looked like a bumbling fool. I agree on all accounts. It was like he was going down for a long pass or maybe to draw a double team from one of the safeties. But what makes sense and how it seemed was he supposed to go about 12 out a button-hook the shit for the first down. But yeah, even if that play wasn't the one that killed it, after Pitt tied it up and especially got that pick for the TD, they had all the momentum and fire they needed. Dallas was already struggling hard at the end there, back to back touchdowns like that drove the nail through the heart.

He's such a big target and he's usually so good at getting the catch and making enough space for himself. There was no need to try and hit a homerun long-shot with 55 seconds to go. Admittedly it sucks the most for you, not me, that Romo didn't get more yardage etc. I'm a few points behind MaT in my head-to-head matchup, and he's played all his players. I have Baltimore and TB Kicker to play. I hope I can get 3 points out of those two. Otherwise it would so suck. You watching Baltimore-Washington today? I feel really tired. TOo tired to stay up for the whole game I think...

But we both have good defenses, so hopefully we can pull it out, making a 2-1 split between you, Foo and I. Yeah, I'll watch it. Should be a good game. On paper at least.

I think I'd rather be me than you though, as Mat has played everyone he can, and I've got 2 to play. Having a 1 v 1 matchup is tough to stomach if you lose by a single play late in a game. And saying that, Ed Reed, INT, points for me, no matter what the score. Makes me feel good. Are we all 2-1. I thought I was 3-1 if I win. I lost to Foo, beat you, Boogs, and now if I win Mat... If I lose I'll be 2-2 though. Scary prospect in the plate competition.

Wow, what fucking gayness.
Denver with another close win. Whew, nothing would have left a worse taste in my mouth than getting swept by the Queefs.
