You know what I would do if I was the Cubs that I think would be cool? Let that sad sack fan who caught the ball instead of the outfielder in that game years ago do the opening pitch one game. Make it a surprise and let them boo him like a heel in professional wrestling. Show that they have a sense of humor about their shit history. And if he does well with the throw and the new team embraces him, maybe he won't get death threats no more. #Winning Yeah no he'd undoubtedly be killed if they lost. Chicago ain't nothin' to fuck with. That would be fun too!

Can you imagine if Bartman had actually thrown out that first pitch that Reign had proposed? The Cubs lost the first game back home that Bartman would've thrown the first pitch in, and now are getting clobbered in the second game at home. ALL the talk in baseball right now would be about 1) the Bartman curse and 2) where the hell is Steve Bartman's body?.

That 30-for-30 (was it 30-for-30) they did on Bartman was top notch. I haven't felt much shittier for a guy in my life than Steve Bartman, and the piece they did on him really shows how crazy that whole thing was. I really wanna watch that, but I need to be mentally prepared. That whole thing was so fucking crazy.

Hmph! But yeah, had it gone this way they would not be able to identify his body it would be so badly mangled.

Amazing game. We've been so fortunate to watch all the major sports curses end in the last 12 years (Red Sox, White Sox, Cleveland, Cubs)

The moment the Cubs got the last out I could sense the emotion and felt the grave of every dead Cubs fan shake. Gave me chiils, yo. Steve Bartman, where u at??!?!

Hell of a story. Been following highlights. Even the U.K. (which couldn't give less of a shit about baseball if it tried) had stories about it. impressive

I usually only like baseball when I'm actually at the game, but those last couple of innings were exciting. Sadly, I missed the 8th. I don't even have a team and I was feeling the tension.

Two of my three favorite broadcasting legends having a conversation in the announcer's booth. The other is Bob Uecker.
