You also can't view profiles or send PMs, which makes the board useless for the time being. Yesterday, I was online at the same time as Boogs, Foo, you and Em, but it was basically the same as putting four blind & deaf men in the same room.

I am glad I can still read the HMF message board.I have a lot of catching up to do. I have just really enjoyed HMF a lot since I found it. Like others I can't even log on. Takes me to a white page. Can only read the board. No interaction what so ever.. such a bummer. I hope it gets back up real soon. I can tell a lot of hard work and long hours went into building it up. Along with some great posting. I would hate to see it lost. Thanks for trying to get it back and for making this board. I am very impatient so this helps. ;D

No worries, Luna. We all love to be on HMF, so the fact that we're all unable to do anything at all is pretty annoying. But we shouldn't lose it, we just need our providers to pull their thumb out of their ass and get the board working properly. Which it will. Till then, this place at least keeps us all in touch.

Brian Williams: Take your time, I am writing a review. Felice: I apologize for the delay. It is taking me longer than expected to obtain the information. Please bear with me for few more minutes. Felice: Upon checking, the ticket LRM-25774-469 has been escalated to our senior tech support. Felice: I believe that it is a problem with the members link in the forum for having it displayed blank. Brian Williams: When do they expect it to be resolved? Brian Williams: Why have I not gotten a single response in 3 days? Felice: I am sorry but I can't provide a timeframe. Anyway, I have reported this also to our systems admin so they can investigate on it. Brian Williams: I wrote this review for a hosting review service while wating. Should I add anything? Brian Williams: Do yourself a favor and save some time by just punching yourself in the nose if you are considering using Globat. It is as painful an experience as you will ever have on the internet. The hosting reliability and customer service are horrible. Days can pass before issues that originated with Globat are addressed. They also have a fun little trick they do with your credit card. They like to send an e-mail to you that looks alot like any other spam. The only difference is that if you don't respond, they sign you up for a useless service that costs $30. Do yourself a favor and check out the hundreds of people who have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau on Globat. They are quite good at taking money without delivering results. Brian Williams: Globat has a 4.12 out of 10 on Webhostingreviews.com. That is clearly too high. Felice: I understand how you feel Brian. I really would like to help you out but it is beyond my authority. However, I would suggest to please try to re-upload a copy of the view.php file in the message_board folder. Brian Williams: Simply being below-average hardly tells the story, don't you agree? Brian Williams: I did not change any files on my message board, you guys did. Brian Williams: You can change them back. Brian Williams: I figure Tom Cox will enjoy these reviews. Brian Williams: DO you want to check on the status again, or should I continue with the reviews? This surely pales in comparison to the actual number of people who get hooked up with this online gyp joint. How does it sound to have your webhost use your credit card without authorization? How about if they tried to do it every month? Globat does just that. If you do not respond to their upgrade offers in your e-mail, you get the pleasure of as $30 charge on your credit card. Think you would like to have a large website with features such as a message board or user blogs? If you are considering Globat, think again. They do not properly handle database driven sites, and interacting with your audience or members becomes nearly impossible. Want good support? Sorry, Globat is probably not for you. If you want to be shuffled and reshuffled by low-level call handlers in third world countries, while being told to wait for an e-mail to be sent, then Globat is up your alley. Well, we did pretty much get blown off by senior tech support. I am on the phone agin with the support hotline. Luckily, I got the same asshole who said he was gonna call me back in an hour yesterday (but never did).

YOu have to wonder, do they not get tired of their own incompetence? Although, we may have to eat our own words on that one if there really is some terribly difficult problem. Some douchebag like Bonesaw hacked into our site and corrupted it all. I only hope it's just them doing foolishness. That doesn't justify not getting back to you, but at least if it was a major flaw I could understand it taking time. If it just needs a quick template reuploaded into a folder, then quite frankly they can all get fucked. whores.

Perhaps he can give us a URL for it. I'd imagine that www.globat.com might be a good starting point though. I haven't checked it out too elaborately.
