I've been approached by someone trying to find a movie and I don't know it. The way it was described to me was that it's about a woman who kept having nightmares about a house she didn't remember ever being at, and then when she got married, on her honeymoon, her husband took her to THAT house. Turns out she witnessed a murder there when she was a child.
Only thing I could search for and come up with was Tormented (1960) and Nightmare (1964). Neither really match the plot of the movie in question, though.

The Night Walker?
I don't see what the twist is at the end of the plot, but it sounds like there are dreams that lead to a repressed murder witness?
Do you know if the movie was from the 60's?

I came across the Night Walker too, but the fact that she obviously knows the house and her new husband is just a dream made me shitcan it. Or Jason's friend is really off on the details.

Yeah, I'm thinking there something may be mis-remembered about the movie described, because I found nothing else in the 60's this morning, lol. Did come across a few I'm interested in checking out during the challenge, but now forget the titles since I went to the store

the only thing that came to mind for me was a tales from the crypt episode, (so obviously not from the 60s) that has elements of what jason described. i'll wait for more info.

I wouldn't write it off as not being an episode of tales from the crypt. Mark kept describing what he thought was a movie to me and I couldn't think of any full length horror movie that matched the description. The only thing that I could think of that matched it was "The Raft" segment from creepshow 2. he insisted that wasn't it until I made him sit down and watch it. then he was like "that was it...I thought it was a full movie..."

It's not even a friend. Someone registered at my dead message board and asked if I could name the film. Couldn't. So naturally I brought the topic here.

Apparently it's more suspense than horror since nobody is killed in the movie.

Apparently the house was in a tropical part of America, most likely in Florida or something. It's assumed that the woman (as a child) hid under the bed when the murders happened (which is why she survived). Her husband KNOWS about the incident and has brought her back to the house in hopes of curing her nightmares.

Maybe it's an Alfred Hitchcock Presents?
