I hope he continues to be a beacon of light in this dark world and all, it's just really fun messing with the Cult of Tebow. Of course it is, just like it's fun for people to write articles proclaiming him the second coming of christ, or is he jesus? or whatever. We all know the truth is only the biggest douches on the planet would really have something against Tebow, and of those, if Tebow was so inclined, he could beat the fuck out of 99% of them.

He had the best college career I've ever seen. Cam was the most impressive player I've seen but Tebow did it for three years. The media obsession with him at Florida especially with CBS who sucked him off constantly like John Madden used to suck off Favre got annoying as fuck though.

Why is everyone worried about what the hell Tebow decides to do with his sports career? "You can't jump ahead in line!"... Nobody threw a fit when he "jumped ahead in line" and got a job as a college broadcaster. When he's making rounds in the media and showing promise as a pro baseball player, everyone throws a fit.
Tebow gets shunned for praying after a game or a touchdown because he needs to keep his religious beliefs off the field, yet, Kaepernick is praised for kneeling during the National Anthem.
Such wild double-standards in our society, today.

Such wild double-standards in our society, today. Always keep the racial divide. Kap should be done in this because he's the suck. People claim Tebow should too because he's the suck. What's the difference?

What in the holy fuck does Kaep have to do with this? Does every thread need to be about politics?

For the record, nobody should be mad about Kaepernick or Tebow in either case.

I hear ya, but Kaep is the one bringing politics into football. If you want to make a case that neither should be publicly persecuted for expressing their beliefs on the field, I fully agree. Both should be respected for their choices.

There is quite a difference in that Tebow is showing respect and Kaep is showing disrespect. Except he's stated that he means no disrespect to military personnel and a shit ton of veterans spoke out in favor of him and lashed out against the right's use of them as a political tool. He has made the point of his message clear but hey, narratives.

Disrespect of police officers. Nothing to do with the military. Wearing pig socks to send a douchey message to police officers is hardly respectful.
Plenty of veterans spoke out against him as well, by the way. I'd wager most think he's an asshole. And he is.

He comes across as a brat for growing up privileged and wearing the pig socks for sure but it doesn't mean the entire conversation should be dismissed.

Of course not, but Tebowing for a prayer and sitting for the anthem for political reasons are mot comparable.

So why are you prone to comparing them? Because they're garnering the same amount of media attention for it, and I just find it funny that the negative Nancy gets more praise than the poster boy for positivity.

For bringing light to issues he finds worth discussion and action? I guess I don't see it that way.
