I'm with Tigg for Starry Eyes being my favorite new watch. I think it is the one that squicked me out, kept me glued to the screen and was the one I can see myself watching again no problem. Runner up was Girl in the Photographs. I honestly thought from that mask on the cover on Neflix it was going to be a hunk of crud. Nicely surprised on that one. Also was suprised by Haunter. What has that been on Netflix for like three years or so? I've been passing it by. I LOVED the angle of this one. It being from that side of the story. Enjoyed that quite a bit. Shit Ones... and there was many. The Ouija Experiment 2: Resurrection- I should have known since I HATED the first. I was desperate for a new watch though. It did not let down for steaming pile of shit material. Ugh. Was almost painful to get through. Darr @ the Mall- Never watched a Bollywood horror. Never will again! I'm thoroughly convinced that music style is here to torture people. Movie that bored me to death... and went NOWHERE had to be I am the Pretty Thing that lives in the House. I really wouldn't have minded if it slow built up to something decent but nope. Felt like when you wait for fireworks on the fourth of july to blow up and you watch it sizzle only to just go out. Yeah. Just. Like. That.

A lot of average films watched this year, but a few did stand out.
Off the top of my head. Der Samurai, Subconscious Cruelty, Someone's Knocking At The Door, Undocumented, The Gateway, Phantasm V, and The Wailing all really stood out among the rest. Bloodshock and Southbound were also decent. Really enjoyed the cheesy tone of Eyes Of The Werewolf and was glad to finally cross Love Me Deadly off my watch list. Which I highly suggest if you want a fun weird 70's movie about necrophilia.

Need to update my list. Definitely fell short.
Best ones I watched: Train to Busan (Korean Zombie Horror), A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night.
Would recommend highly to all.
