California finally got its own Five Guys a few years back. These two seem to be regarded as the two best legitimate burger places on the planet. Discuss?
At first I couldn't decide when I first got to try Five Guys. After a couple of years I'd say I prefer the Five Guys burger over the In-N-Out burger, but I am currently going to place my vote as Undecided, because Jesus Fuck a Five Guys burger is like 8 dollars by itself with no drink or fries. Criminal. And it's not like it's a big burger so it warrants being 8 dollars, this thing is tiny. I realize we are paying for quality and I definitely appreciate that, but if I am going to pay 8 dollars for only one item, it better fill me up. These things are about the price of a Chipotle burrito which are expensive enough, but Chipotle is also very high in quality and about double the amount of food you get in one Five Guys burger. I can get a double cheeseburger from In-N-Out for half the price of a Five Guys burger and that is pretty ridiculous. They are also about the same size. Until In-N-Out decides to up the prices, I'm leaving my vote at Undecided.
Only reason I post this video is to criticize this woman. You can't have a proper comparison of two burgers when they've been sitting out for God knows how long. She had to go get one burger, hop in the car, go get another one, then go to the park, find a place to sit and then do her youtube intro and history lesson on both food chains, when they started, and the differences in the graphic design on their cups and shit. Not sure if anyone notices, but for the most part, food generally tastes better when it is fresh off the fryer, not sitting around getting lukewarm. The quality of both burgers were already compromised before she even hit the record button on her camera. She also complained about how cold the fries were the second she started eating. Wonder why they're so cold? This video fails.

I never had Rally's. And I only had Checkers once in Tennessee about 6 years ago. Hard to judge, but I think they are both probably better than Checkers. Would have to try Checkers again to confirm, though.

Five Guys for me. Not much to discuss, just my preference.

I usually hear about Checkers as competition. I can't judge because I've never had it.

Five Guys with extra jalapenos on it and cajun fries. (And put some cajun fries ON the burger) I haven't tried that Shake Shack place. Is it on the level with those? They just built one about an hour away. Price doesn't bother me. It's not something I eat often so when I really want a good burger I don't mind it costing more. It tastes way better than the burger I make at home.

I'd still pick In N Out, but I wouldn't rag on Five Guys as much if they didn't want champagne prices for being like the Budweiser of burgers.

Have you even had an In N Out burger, Swede? Just off I-15 out of Las Vegas, heading North. Pretty sure that's what that was.
