Worst draft in Ravens history. I would give it a grade of D-

This entire draft was pretty shitty overall, in my opinion.

How we could come out of this draft without a wide receiver is beyond my comprehension

Broncos killed it on Day 3. Chad Kelly is a moron and probably won't make the team but who cares, it's Mr. irrelevant.

We have a tight end named Butt and the dude already has an endorsement deal with Charmin. GOAT.

I was really happy with our draft this year. 1st round talent with the first 3 picks. Hopefully Mixon can keep his head cool. I watched his apology, and saw the joint press conference that he and the chick he punched gave. He does seem really remorseful. He was like 17 at the time. I get it. But I have seen the video, and damn....pretty brutal. He was really open to questions about the situation that happened. I hope this is the real Mixon, and not the guy who smashed that girls face. Ooooof.....he has a tough road to prove himself. The victim seems to have forgiven him, but it is still not quite good enough for me. I will give him a chance to redeem himself, I just won't hold my breath. But I am rooting for him at the same time.
Oh, and the Bengals finally drafted a kicker! I don't know much about him, but I am gonna try and watch some shit on YouTube of him, if I can find it.

I don't know much about him, but I am gonna try and watch some shit on YouTube of him, if I can find it. I love Mixon the player but there are a few things that concern me beyond just the video. His demeanor on the field is punk-ish, constantly shoving guys after being tackled. Which may seem like nothing since it's football, but it comes across as more of an angry reaction every time than just mixing it up. He was egging on the crowd chanting that he hits women at the Sugar Bowl. I get that it would suck to hear that, but that's not a good look. In addition there was another alleged incident from high school involving him shoving a girl to the ground. Nothing ever came of it so I'll acknowledge it's a rumor at this point. The details leading up to the punch disturbed me as well, he and his friends apparently harassing a gay kid who was friends with the girl and following them into the bar to continue the harassment. Overall the combination of things listed plus the punch leads me to believe he has legit anger management issues he needs to address, along with general maturity issues. I believe in second chances, but I dunno. He just doesn't strike me as a good dude.

Still, early second round value in the 5th is nice.

Broncos sign Jamaal Charles, who was long the Chiefs' most beloved player, for a veteran minimum salary plus incentives and he comes out and says he always wanted to play for Denver. Shitting all over "Chiefs Kingdom".

Always liked him. Even when he'd run it down our throats.

Holy crap. The butthurt is strong in Kansas City. " Jamaal Charles did not seem a likely candidate for the most spectacular heel turn in Kansas City sports history."
"Which makes this week’s news impossible to cleanly digest here in Kansas City. Charles is now a Denver Bronco, which would be enough for a day, but this was unscripted sports’ equivalent of Hulk Hogan ripping off his Hulkster shirt and joining the Outsiders."
"Because when Neil Smith won a ring with the Broncos, he never said stuff like this: “I always wanted to play for Denver,” Charles said. “Growing up, John Elway was one of my favorite players.”..."
He wasn’t done. “They say it’s a business,” he said. “But it’s personal as well.” Charles still wasn’t done. “I’m just happy I get to play (the Chiefs) twice a year,” he said. "
"But nobody wants to break up with their girlfriend, then see her move in next door, date the arch nemesis, and tell everybody who will listen this is how she always wanted it."
"Watching him in another uniform was always going to be difficult for Chiefs fans, and watching him play for the Broncos would’ve been nearly impossible. Do you root for him to do well, but in a loss? How bitter should you remain about the fumble at the end of the Thursday night game two years ago?"
"Charles is making this easy. He’s a Bronco now, and proud. He will embrace his new team, his new city, and this new part of his career. Good for him. The Chiefs have their own stuff going on."

I did not realize Kansas City hated us so fucking much. Do they not realize that we think worse of the Raiders and Chargers? This shit is gold. Even if Charles is completely worn out and tears his ACL on his first carry, this is still an A+ signing. This is like eating a delicious juicy steak in front of a shit talking hipster vegan who's tied to a chair and forced to watch.

Oh yeah, KC fans HATE Denver. They have always had that little brother mentality. For Broncos fans, the Raiders rivalry means more. For Chiefs fans, beating the Broncos is everything.

Wish I could've got me some Kansas City newspapers back in 97 when we got Neil Smith. I can't imagine the pain watching him win back to back titles the moment he left Kansas City. Bwahaha. John Elway: "Welcome to the good side". Neil Smith: "You know that's right"! I need to study their pain, for the sake of it being pathetic.
