Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die.

It sounds like to many the ending really is what really sold the film as a great one. When you know it's coming, it probably loses its punch. But I'll still give it a shot. Meh, it's alright. I don't see why everyone claims it's such a great film really. Outside of the ending, it's kinda boring. Phantasm on the other hand, is good shit. And outside of the gap between parts 1 and 2, each sequel continues right where the previous film left off. A rare thing in horror films.

what did you think of it? I really enjoyed it. I can see what people were saying about the whole 'anti-media' message and the political thing, and part of the dialogue was repetative, but I actually like it as a concept, and there was some great gore going on. At first I was unsure, but it got better as it went along for me. Good characters too. I'm not sure why people have such a gripe with it, the film was actually loaded quite heavily with good gore and zombies dying. The only real problem I had was trying to figure out why it restarts in a sense, trying to get through the timeline.

So Far 1. Hell raiser 3 2. The Tripper 3. Reincarnation 4. Event Horizon 5. The Original .. Wicker Man Tripper is one I had not seen before. What a cast! From Peewee Herman to Balthazar Getty. A good movie... lots of fun tons of gore AND Peewee has to hide in a shitter.. classic. A killer who worships Regan and hates tree huggers/hippies. One of my new fav's

Your first, 4th and 5th films you watched are all favourites of mine. You've got good taste, if not absolutely great taste.
