Just saw this the other day and have to say it's one of the best horror films I've seen in quite some time. It's about a group of cops that go to some abandon building after getting a call for backup, but shit gets weird quick and you don't know what the fuck is going on. It's got some gross stuff, some fucked up stuff, a confusing as fuck plot, and not a single fucking jump scare. The lack of jump scares is enough to qualify this as a good horror film by today's standards, but it's the creepy vibe that really makes this worth watching. It's turkish, so it might not be easily accessible through netfilx and the like, but keep an eye out for it.

Reading into it a little, it appears that it was based off a short film from 2013 done by the same guys. I have no idea if the short is floating out there somewhere, but that too could be interesting to give a look into.
As for this, it certainly looks interesting. Just one question, if I may:
Is humor a huge part of this movie? I'm guessing it takes itself somewhat playfully, but insofar as the characters themselves are concerned, do things remain serious?

Looks cool, weird and fucked up, right up my alley. And for being Turkish it looks like they got some coin for it (or at least used it well) as the production values look pretty good and they have good posters for it. Thanks for the heads up.
But damnit, I wish I didn't read the review on the short film board for it as it reveals the twist. Motherfucker said minimal spoilers, revealing the twist isn't minimal, fuckwit. Oh well spoilers don't bother me much and it seems like a good one.

It's a good film, great build and atmosphere and once they enter the building is when it goes abit off the rails.
The ending isn't really a spoiler, once you're into the meat and bones of a film like this. It basically took the easy way out, but still left the viewing questioning everything that has been happening.

Most of the humor from the officers take place during the beginning of the film while they're sitting around talking about sex stories. It just gives you some light hearted sex talk to get you comfortable with the characters, before what unfolds in the building happens. Some of the dialogue during the opening dinner scenes need to be taken into account as well, since some events from those stories are touched upon again.

The film takes itself seriously. The only "humor" is the cops joking around at the beginning. And even that goes downhill quick when one of them takes offense to an outsider laughing at a story he tells.

And I put twist in quotes because the plot doesn't make a whole lotta sense in the first place, so it's not really a shocking reveal or anything.

I dug it. Definitely liked the creepy vibe and atmosphere. And anytime where the story got kinda weird or confusing, I just chalked it up to that they were in hell, shits gonna be weird. Worth the watch, makes me want to see what other horror flicks the goofy Turkish bastards have up their sleeve.
