be afraid, be very afraid. this is too near challenge time for me to become invested in a week to week tv show. if you do watch it, let me know how it is though?

Can we stop trying to expand on iconic movies that only needed two hours to showcase its excellence. A TV show based on that two hour movie is going to lose tremendous steam sooner rather than later.
Creativity is severely lacking in Hollyweird, right now.

If it was on a different channel, maybe? I just don't have faith with anything on Fox, they usually cancel shows after one season anyway.

Creativity is severely lacking in Hollyweird, right now. I think a movie based tv show needs to be handled correctly to properly work. Both Ash Vs Evil and From Dusk Til Dawn are solid shows and that's most likely because the creators of the films are producing them and no Hollywood big wig that thinks they need to cater to the modern teen demographic like the Scream series on MTV.

Wasn't shabby. Seemed like the plotting suffered to cram what they did into 45 minutes, like jumping to the conclusion that something is in Gena Davis' house, without any lead-up, but everything else seems pretty decent. It is doing it's own story and characters, kind of like if The Rite was called Exorcist 5 or something, so that's a plus that they're not rehashing or "prequeling" the original movie.

I really liked the last 10 minutes thought the attic scenes were nicely done.

Managed to sneak in the first episode today. Gotta say I liked that little twist. Not so sure how I feel about that eyeball deal. Hoping it gets to be scarier than that. They keep it up like the attic scene and I'd watch the season out. Already 100x better than the stupid Damien series.
