DeMarcus Ware has retired. Might've been my all time favorite Bronco free agent signing behind GOATon Manning.

Good Q for fellow Broncos fans.
Favorite duo: Ware/Miller or Talib/Harris?

Talib/Harris. Rarely got to see peak Ware but Talib and Harris have been the best corners in football the last two years. One of the best CB duos ever.

Can you even imagine if we had prime Champ, too? Somebody would have to go. Champ on #1 receiver at all times, Talib on the other side, Harris getting the nickel with Roby getting the breather reps. 3 interceptions for every 5 attempts.

As far as the question I had, it's impossible for me to answer. On one hand you have Head's explanation for Talib/Harris. On the other hand you have the overall best player on defense playing next to a first ballot hall of famer and an all time great pass rusher.
I will never forget that spin move that Ware put on Joe Staley.

Looks like we're heading toward the inevitable: Jay Cutler signing with the New York Jets. Nothing in the universe has ever made any more sense than this future disaster of epic proportions. No combination of player and team has ever deserved to be together more. Now we are all but witnesses to this meeting of the mediocre, unable to subdue the irresistible force pushing them together like a toothless meth head meeting his dirtbag dealer in the corner of a Target parking lot. It's just the way of the universe at play.

I'll be a fan of Jay Cutler twice this year.

Just saw a stat that Marino had a streak of 759 straight dropbacks without taking a sack. One of the more insane numbers I've ever heard.

Quick release? Great o-line? Tremendous pocket presence? Original dink and dunk king?

Marino's accuracy was the best thing about him. He could hit a bump on a gnat's ass at 50 yards. GOAT.

Elway, Marino and Manning are interchangeable for #1, for me. They're in their own tier.

I miss the Elway arguments between you and Fooskey. I miss any argument with Fooskey. I think his fading interest in sports coupled with the food truck biz is what did it. I mean, we get arguments with Fooskey in the politics board daily, but he and I are in agreement 99.99% of the time.

Football changed fundamentally as a sport and I cannot get past the long term consequences for so many players I cheer.
