Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die.

Fuck me this is a good movie! Seriously, don't even bother with looking at a trailer, just fucking watch it. No jump scares, no noticeable cgi, actual fucking tension, and practical effects straight outta The Thing. The ending's a bit out there, but fuck it. This movie got a pass when it took less than twenty minutes to get me wanting more. It's only a limited theatrical release, so go see it if you can. Otherwise it's available online on various legit and not-so-legit sites.
Man, I needed this. So much bad shit has come out that I thought people forgot how to make good horror.

That one looks quite interesting. It's on my radar, and I'll give it a go when I have time.

Agreed, this was pretty damn good and it gets straight into the story. No useless bullshit. The creature effects were great and the way they had them set up in certain places worked for their strengths. I didn't mind the ending, it felt like something you would see in a Fulci movie.

The ending threw me. Still not sure what was going on there. I need to watch it again when I'm not struggling to stay awake. (wasn't boring. Just tired) I felt like I'd missed something.
