We've managed to make this place look a lot like HMF, but navigation and some of the features are different than that of the coding for sites that support HMF.
Firstly, just a quick bit of information, this site has a mobile friendly version for peeps on the phone. You might already tell the layout is a little bit different when you're using mobile. You can scroll to the bottom and tap "desktop" if you want the full functions of the board. Unfortunately, I have no way of editing the mobile friendly layout. I'm not sure if it's just the way phones respond to the internet, or if it's just a poor coding setup, but some of this stuff will be more difficult (or impossible) to access unless you're on an actual computer or using the "desktop" option on your phone.

{Avatar Settings: Click to Expand}There is a little trick to getting your avatar to fitting the standard 200x200 that was on HMF. I edited the code to allow avatars to be that size, the problem is when you're uploading from your computer straight to here. It will always be reduced to 150x150. If you have an image larger than 150x150, the direct link, such as tinypic or photobucket, won't be reduced to 150 pixels. If you have the direct URL, just do this:
Click "Profile" > "Edit Profile". Make sure you select "Use only the uploaded/linked" option. Then click "Upload/Link".
A window will pop up, asking you to "Select image" or provide a direct link. Paste your direct link where the big green checkmark is.
If any of you want the URL to the avatar you had on HMF and can't find it, I can get it for you.

{Quick Reply Feature: Click to Expand}Some of you may not have noticed when you are scrolling through threads that there is a Quick Reply option at the bottom of the page. Makes it easier to respond if you're not quoting anybody. I also added smilies and HTML options to it. *Incoming Jedi Arnold photobomb*
{Original HMF Smileys: Click to Expand}You will notice in the Quick Reply function that all HMF smileys are viewable and ready to use. To view and use HMF smileys in their original emoticon box like it was at HMF, click the smiley box you see in the image below. A box will popup with a list of smileys, but to be able to view all of them in their original form, click "View All Smileys".
Now you should have the original HMF emoticon box ready for you to use. Even while this box is open, you can move the box around and even continue posting while it is open. Click the smileys you wish to use at any point. When you are done, you can click the X or OK to close, or you can just ignore it completely and click the post button. It's pretty handy to have open if you're gonna be using multiple smileys.
And of course, the end result.

{Spoiler Tutorial: Click to Expand}To use the spoiler code, check next to the small smiley box. Directly next to it, you should see the ol' familiar spoiler emoticon from the HMF days. If you notice it isn't there, fear not. It is one of the last plugins to load on the page. Sometimes when you hover your mouse over it, the image will appear.
Click the spoiler emoticon and the spoiler box will pop up.
For "Spoiler Title", you can leave the default as is, or change it to anything of your choosing.
For "Spoiler Body", that is simply where you will type out your spoiler. When you are finished, click "Add spoiler".
See example below.

{Embedding a Youtube video: Click to Expand}Embedding a Youtube video is significantly more simple than the flash technique at HMF. The main downside is the inability to edit the size of the video. So what we do is copy the 11-character text from the youtube video you want to embed, highlighted below.
Then you want to paste it in between these tags .
