With the entering the sewer scene, I don't know if it was so much the words as forcing Eddie to be some witty smart-mouth or summat.

He's not quite the weenie he is in the TV movie, and him making smart-mouth-ish comments are kinda like him coming out of his shell around his friends. I do remember that being one of the significant differences I noticed when first reading the book a long time ago. I figure I'm more used to that characterization, just like I'm more used to Stan being a curly haired ginger.

Speaking of Stan, I love his eye-roll during Eddie and Richie's argument (57 seconds into the trailer) - a subtle thing, but I love how he's clearly shown as more mature than the both of them in that very small movement. Stan was always one of the most interesting kids, and glad that he's kept his overly serious side. Though I hope his jokes appear too. "Kookie, kookie, lend me your bones."

Feminists are now attacking the new Wonder Woman movie for fat-shaming because the movie is promoting protein bars and other products for fitness and beauty. First they were pissed that she didn't have arm pit hair (gross).
Do these retards not realize that a major motion picture is being made of a female super hero? But I'm sure all will be forgiven when they throw shade at Trump at some point in the movie.

I liked how serious, and non-believing he was acting as well.

50's feminists had a really respectable cause. And they weren't wild cunts about it, either.

Will probably see it. But I'm not sure what else there is to cover/what they're gonna do differently from the Mark Ruffalo Zodiac that hasn't already been done. That flick nailed it fairly well.

Does anybody understand now why I bitch about this shit? I'm sure this flick will take up 13 screens for a year straight. We are living in the worst era of movies in history. The absolute, inarguable, worst era of movies ever. Of all time. Here it is, folks: The Fucking Emoji Movie.{Spoiler}It will also be in 3D. 3D Emoji. And yes, the emoji in the trailer is me. That's how excited I am, and that's how excited we should all be.

That's how excited I am, and that's how excited we should all be. Actually, we probably are. Movies were really an adventure at one point. I remember checking the newspapers every week to see new ads and every theater had different things. They showed a mix of old and new, studio and independent. Think of how many of the early slashers were made. Some young person had a passion for a movie and an idea. He then got investments from people he knew and made that movie. A couple prints were made and he showed it to theater owners. Based on that success, it went from town to town. Now it is all media conglomerates and how much is made before anyone actually sees it. Critics are part of the same empire that creates and sells.

On the flip side, what a time to be alive in an era where not only are they adapting awesome books and comics books you loved growing up into live action movies, they're doing it (mostly) very well! If course, if you're not into those fandoms, you could just not give any shits. Oh well.
The Emoji movie looks like typical kids movie garbage, I weep for the days when kids movies weren't safe pieces of shit like that. First time I saw the trailer, I thought it was a joke (you know, eventually leading to "quiet your cell phones" or some shit), then I thought it was a movie that was going to bomb like a Veggie Tales movie or something, but nope it keeps looking bigger and bigger. Oye.

tv survived to become the best it's ever been, by your admission. you don't think movies will rebound more to your liking too?
