We can't forget that Hank Jr.'s Monday Night theme, the greatest sports theme in all the land, was canned because he's not an Obama fan. That was some bullshit. I am a huge Hank Jr fan. His theme will never be topped. I bet Kanye or some rap douchebag gets a shot at it someday. The horror

What are the odds one Broncos QB starts the entire season? 15%?
That was a vomit inducing second quarter.

Definitely. I honestly thought with that horrible pick-6 that Sanchez had it in the bag. Then he goes and fumbles it away twice. They all looked good as far as game managers go, and it will still take us far with this defense, but man, this is a tough one to call. I don't envy Kubiak. P.S. Eat shit, Bork.

I dunno about them being game managers tbh. Siemian is painfully conservative like a game manager and that's mostly fine but the problem is unlike an Alex Smith type he isn't particularly smart about his decisions either. He eye raped the shit out of DT on that pick six. DBs will jump routes against him. Sanchez has far more ability to stretch a defense but dude is just a mentally weak puppy who's been kicked repeatedly. After he fucks up once, he can't stop shitting the bed. Outside of the two fumbles, there were two other passes that should have been picked. Lynch/Teblow looked pretty good for the most part, but I mean he played against dudes who will be bagging groceries in a few weeks.
This might be the most talented roster 1-53 in the NFL and I love our coaches but I think this is a 9-10 win season and a dog fight for the division. Which I'm pretty much fine with, 2017-19 is the next title window I think.

Firstly, you can't bring up bagging groceries without mentioning Kurt Warner. And he became a Rams legend. I do agree, though. I find myself rooting for Siemian in the fact that he was essentially a nobody, and only drafted for depth, but has grown and is showing how badly he wants this job. I also find myself rooting for Sanchez in the fact that he is generally thought of as a laughing stock because of the butt fumble. To suddenly find yourself in the contention of starter for a Super Bowl team is incredibly rewarding. He is a good dude and deserves it if he can prove himself. That makes me happy. I think with Sanchez, you get a general idea with what you're gonna get out of him on the field, and with Siemian, I think it'll be a roller coaster, not on the level of Jay Cutler when every deep ball was a TD or PICK, but he'll have his high games and his low games, and with this defense, if it were my choice, I think I would barely, barely, barely pick Sanchez. As far as 9-10 wins. That wouldn't surprise me, considering the AFC West is a complete fucking asshole to us right now, but the sky is the limit for this defense and it can take us anywhere. I am still relishing in that Super Bowl 50 win. God damn that feels so fucking good, even 6 months in I want to smoke a cigar.

I am totally sold on Jameis Winston. I'd be shocked if he doesn't end up a first ballot Hall of Famer. I don't care how early it is in his career.

I think he'll always be a gunslinger for all that entails but yeah he's gonna be amazing. He was a pretty easy evaluation for me, not a total slam dunk like Luck but pretty close. I like Mariota too. The last few drafts have added some much needed young talent at the position.

I dig Mariota quite a bit. I think he's a system QB who needs work on hid deep ball, though. Robinson might be the best front office guy in the NFL behind Elway. Acquring Murray and drafting Henry were huge moves on his part. Now the Titans have the potential to be the best 1-2 punch in the NFL at the running back position. This should help Mariota tremendously and create a lot of openings in the passing game. That Tajai Sharpe kid is going to be a massive acquisition to that squad. Mariota also needs to work on faking the play action. I know when it's a run or pass before the running back even gets to him.
Just those little, fixable things and he'll probably be a top ten QB.

Shitty news about Romo. Broke his back while attempting a slide and getting hit from behind by Cliff Avril.
I wonder if the NFL is gonna look into "safer" ways to slide. We're getting closer and closer to touch football.

What makes this extra funny, Famous Jameis is already a first ballot hall of famer in Jason's eyes, and Tom Brady is not.
