So pissed that the Raiders are signing good players. Bruce Irvin. Get out!

Irvin/Mack is looking ugly for our o-line. RGIII gonna get torn up in Denver if we don't fix that o-line like nao

Also, I think the Raiders are positioning themselves to finally contend for a playoff spot, but they'll never be elite until they get a real front office. And likely re-do some of their culture and what it's like to play there. Sure, they got money to burn to sign someone like Irvin (but how many more will they waste on washed up veteran names?), but who at all is gonna take a pay cut just to be part of the Raiders, let alone a good player?

How do they not have a real front office? McKenzie and his staff have done almost everything right in the past few years. They're killing every draft and getting impact players in free agency. Players legitimately want to play there. Don't see much of a cultural problem at all. They're not signing those washed up veterans anymore. Al Davis is dead, shit is different now. And they're not even having to overpay guys, these are the contracts these players earn now. Sean Smith was actually somewhat of a bargain. And it's not like players really take pay cuts anyway, that's a rare (and stupid) thing for players to do.

Oakland's probably gonna sign Weddle too. That team is getting stacked. Don't undersell them.

I'll be officially annoyed with the course of things if we stupidly let CJ go when all we had to fucking do was give him a 2nd round tender for an extra 800k. That was a weak, low ball offer by Elway.

Running back might be the most important position at this point, considering Kubiak's offense. If CJ goes to the enemy I'll be pissed at him.

Denver is getting Kaepernick. The big question is, what number will he wear? He sure as shit isn't wearing 7. What did he wear in college?

Elway might talk them down to the third, but either way, we hold the last pick, so it's not like we're giving up the 33rd overall. QB free agency is scarce, only three or so decent quarterbacks, and Kaep has proven he has the abilities to do great things. He already has a pretty friendly contract and is willing to negotiate even further, which is admirable.

Chip wanted to trade for Kaep at one point in Philadelphia.
My biggest problem with Kaep is he's just an arrogant jackass and an idiot off the field. There's potential to be dynamic, but he has not developed that touch as a passer, everything's a fastball all the time. Maybe we can get the most out of whatever is left there, but last season was pretty awful.

Looks like we're letting CJ go and signing Alfred Morris. Elway screwed the pooch on handling this one. Sucks because I know CJ really wanted to be in Denver.

Most of the team was at Manning's retirement press conference. Brock Osweiler, wasn't. Really says a lot. He says being the number two guy wasn't the factor, but his actions say otherwise. You ignore calls and texts from players and coaches, you don't show up to the retirement ceremony for the guy you spent four years learning under and now in your Texans introductory press conference you say that Houston gave you the best option to succeed, just one month after being on a Super Bowl winning team. Subtle, but that statement seems like a cheap shot, to me. Fuck you, Bork.

Subtle, but that statement seems like a cheap shot, to me. Fuck you, Bork. With that defense, even Akili Smith could win a playoff game or two. I understand him getting as much much money as he can, but if he stayed in Denver, he had a chance at a couple of Super Bowls with that defense. Best defense I have seen since the 2000 Ravens. I hope Brock fails. If the Broncos can get Fitzpatrick, then look the fuck out. Brock proved to me that he can make some nice throws, but from what I saw of him, he was hot and cold. Nothing special really. AJ McCarron was way more impressive. In the long run, you guys might be better off without him. Brock and Roll is dead.
