Most of the team was at Manning's retirement press conference. Brock Osweiler, wasn't. Really says a lot. He says being the number two guy wasn't the factor, but his actions say otherwise. You ignore calls and texts from players and coaches, you don't show up to the retirement ceremony for the guy you spent four years learning under and now in your Texans introductory press conference you say that Houston gave you the best option to succeed, just one month after being on a Super Bowl winning team. Subtle, but that statement seems like a cheap shot, to me. Fuck you, Bork. Say it was about the money. Say you felt slighted. Say you don't want to be in Elway and Manning's shadow. But don't give me this best chance to succeed horse shit.

We need to get this QB situation done by the end of the day. I don't want Mark Sanchez to be the number one QB all weekend.

Sanchez really isn't that bad tbh. Average-below average but has won in good situations.
No to Ryan Fitzpatrick. He's going to cost too much money and is also not good.

Booger Pickin' Dirty Sanchez in orange and blue.. ... He's a victim of bandwagon groupthink from NFL fans who saw the butt fumble and now annoit him one of the NFL's jokes. Reputation far exceeds the reality. Kubiak's system is actually a nice fit for his strengths as a QB, he's won big games and we gave up a conditional 7th round pick for him. This is not a bad move by any means.

Also worth consideration that this may be a chip used to entice Chip and get Kaepernick without giving up an extra draft pick.

I am cool with him at number two, but his ceiling of top play is way too low to be a starter.

I am cool with him at number two, but his ceiling of top play is way too low to be a starter. That's fair. He deserves a shot to compete though. And really, are there many better options to come in for an injured starter and hold the fort? If it's RG3 or Kaep, you've got to account for their injury history and have a backup who can stay the course. Sanchez is more than capable.

I don't think we keep Sanchez if we trade for Kaep. It's either Fitz, Sanchez, Siemian or Kaep, Siemian, draft.

When you get right down to it, outside of Fitzy's outlier year with the Jets, he and Sanchez are basically the same player. One cost us a conditional 7th, the other would cost us more cap space than he's worth.

Valid but fitz has always been on shit teams with him I would give Denver a better chance of winning it all again.

You can only keep a great defense together so long spend the money for fitz in my opinion

Apparently Denver backed out of Fitzy talks.
